Ahh~ I've finally finished the drawing Earnest had requested months ago. I feel bad that it took me so long to get posted. I've actually had it finished for at least three months.

So I was on messenger with Earnest (actually I had ditched my dad just to talk to her.) and she asked if she could request something from me. Well, I've never said no to her so why start? Besides it was, what I thought, a simple drawing that would give me something to do. So I asked her what she wanted me to draw and she said Shinya dressed like Audrey Hepburn.

_{Once I got some free time after finishing another drawing --I don't remember what the other drawing was-- I started the outlining which wasn't easy at all. Usually I'll lightly sketch everything out so I have an idea of what I was doing. I'm not used to drawing jewelry so that damn tiara and pearl necklace really kicked my ass hard, however, I sucked it up and got past it without complaining or giving up. So once I had everything sketched out I started doing the hair, face and the glove, but I decided since the glove and dress (yes he was wearing a damn dress. STFU) were really black I should use charcoal. My original plan was to also do the eyes in charcoal or just the whole thing, but my mom said it might take away from the drawing so I took her advice.}

_{The shading had to be my favorite part. For whatever reason I just enjoyed it in this particular drawing. If you had drawing with me you'll know how much I hate drawing or also how I can't draw at school. (Lack of concentration and inspiration. Add in an uncomfortable environment full of people and my insecurities.) Maybe the fact that I didn't have Mr. Miller breathing down my neck helped me out a bit as well. Also, the shading wasn't all that hard in the first place. Sure it may look like it, but really it was quite simple. (And I couldn't wait to get my hand on that cute little nose of his. Ha.)}

_{There was a lot of detail in that glove of his, however my camera wasn't able to pick that up very well even though I was using the super macro setting. The lighting in my room wasn't the best, so I upped the coloring a bit in Adobe Photoshop. I believe it was curves that I used, but I already forgot and I just did it a little bit ago.}

_{I honestly wasn't too sure about this one. I mean I thought it looked like Shinya but I was worrying whether Earnest would like it or not. I was working on it after my uncle died, because it wasn't finished and I really just needed to take my mind off of everything. My mom told me to show my aunt Jeanette so I gave it to her and left the room. You know, incase she wanted to say "What the hell? This sucks." (Not saying my aunt would actually say that to me. I'm just hard on myself.) From the other room I heard her say, "It looks so realistic like I can just reach out and touch his face! And that glove looks so real. Look at the detail!" So I was pretty proud of it. Even my aunt Cheryll liked it which really surprised me because she is a very hard person to please, especially with the things I'm into. My cousin Aaron thought it was a girl and argued with me up and down that it was. Ha. So I guess this was a good drawing, ne? Yes? No? I'm ranting. Damn.}
